Pharrell interviewed by Rob Stone at the Midem Music Business 2010 Conference (in Cannes) talks about his ability to stay fresh and the challenges he experiences when developing something out of his endless ideas. I’ve learned and re-learned some huge lessons from this. So take your time watching this 40min video and bookmark it too!

Wooooo!!! Now im not a fan of the Cortez’s but I love these! I can see myself this time just stalking people in the jungle wearing these. They’ll complete my life!  I especially like the symbol on the tongue that remind me of the Dharma Initiative!

Anyway, they are a part of the celebration for Chinese New Year (starting Valentines Day). They have have a snow-white nylon upper with golden hue silk screened Tiger’s stripe print. The Chinese characters “寅”(tiger) and “平安” (peace) are embossed to to each shoe tongue. A Horse hair finishing which makes the shoe jump right out. The right shoe is finished with red trim which is in in respect to those born in the year of the tiger as a symbol of praying for good luck.

There are a limited 200 pairs that come with a special limited shoe box that looks more than awesome otherwise you can buy these with a regular Nike shoe box.

This one confused the hell out of me when i first saw it and just incase it confuses you as much as it did me i’ll break it down for you.

In simple-terms this is a hyper modern version of a history installation that you’ll find is most fitting in somewhere like the Science Museum. But to give it credit, this is one way of educating the masses the evolution of modern music. Split up by House to Hip Hop and all variants in between.

Its all theory really, I cant see any science in the subject but it an excellent installation by 3 Bits in terms of how it was created. Using Processing an open-source programming language (intended for this kind of thing) and interaction developed by the use of 3 ‘players’ and wii remotes.

The project’s objective is to create an interface where users can view all the connections between the main styles of electronic music through visual and audible feedback. The choice is individual and leads to a collective consequence in the spatial visualization of information.

If anyone gets a chance to use it give us a shout, otherwise more on this when we get it!

I just found this 2 piece creation by Mancunian Rob Wilford named ‘Neon Heroes’. He’s created these nostalgic photo manipulations in hones to D.C. comics Hero’s Superman and Batman. Rob Notes that he done this ‘Just for fun!’ and releases by expressing ‘Ahh… to be a child again!!’

I can find little on this guy but his work is nice and thats all we really want to know I guess!?

Nice one Rob!
