Like all the rest this one has been sitting in my in tray for sometime  burning a whole in it but here it is anyway.

This is a second wave of goodness coming from the boys who released the free album JKP Vol. 1: The Prequel in 2008 that contained a generous 20 recordings.

In Rihanna’s new video, that leaked last night, she is saying no thanks to girl-on-girl action – although if actions speaks louder than words, her words doesn’t seem to be worth much.

She is seen flirting with Laetitia Casta, actress and Victoria’s Secret model, whilst she is singing:

Listen, we can dance but you gotta watch your hands
watch me all night, I’m moving to the light because I understand
that we all need love and I’m not afraid
I feel the love, but I don’t feel that way.

The video was shot in a French castle last month by Anthony Mandler.

The one thing that really caught my eye in this video was the lovely floaty maxi dress Ri-Ri was wearing. It’s by Mara Hoffman from her Spring 2010 collection.

Now THAT dress is worth Rihanna having to telling me to keep my hands off of her – or I’ll rip it of her.

So I didn’t buy an iPad today and I dont think I really have a plan to do so. I looked into it in the hope that it would add some huge advantage to my life but it was lacking (for me) in a lot of ways than I expected so I’m holding out until those things are included at some point.

Anyway one of the things that is seriously attracting me to the iPad is the WIRED Magazine app/iBook. Apparently not just your average digital media showcase, the app gives the user supreme control in a clean and seamless manner. Obviously this is a US only release so far, but would be interesting to see a UK release next month or so.

This is every Back to Future fan boy’s wet dream so naturally its mine. This Hoverboard is made by French artist and designer Nils Guadagnin and he’s included a very intelligent system to make it hover.

The Hoverboard is a project born in 2008 for an exhibition named “Back To the future”. This work is a copy of the hoverboard from the movie Back to the Future II. Integrated into the board and the plinth is an electromagnetic system which levitates the board. A laser system stabilises the object in the air.
In the making of this work, I was thinking about different ways of presenting sculpture. In fact it’s a reflexion on the multiple possibilities of how to give a sculpture full spatial autonomy.

Heres a nice look at a lookbook thats worth mentioning. Not only for the fashion but the pure originality and thought put into the production. Tarina Tarantino meets the brand and clothing with the original colourful story made 1939 classic film the Wizard of Oz. Features Kelly Osborne, Debi Mazar and Holly Owens with photography by  Alberto Sanchez. The pictures really do all of the work so here, have a butchers…
