I love it when the use of real CAD design methods become a part of the overall creation process in fashion. Its a massive part of sportswear design but thats an area where efficiency is required so no suprises there.

Anyway, whats most surprising here is that this shoe was made by a new semi-automatic design method by United Nude. An object is digitally scanned into a 3D computer model and regenerated into various resolutions and as a result pops out a United Nude Lo Res ‘part of an automated design revolution.‘

This shoe makes so much sense after watching Tron.
