Found this one on my less than regular rubblings through Juxtapoz and I gotta say that I was stunned by this one. I’m gonna hold my hands up high and say that even if I have come across the graffiti artist Typoe’s work before I havent noticed it, but this sculpture could make me a fan of his forevermore – definately got my attention.

This piece is called ”Confetti Death” and is part of a series of pieces that he made earlier in the year (not sure wat the name of the collection is). I havent got those images, but soon as I do, I’m shooting those straight to your surfing tools.

A little something for your ornements collection. Personally, I’m not allowed anything like this back home but if I was I’d probably start here. Urban traditional brand or artist collaborations with Disney is nothing new (see here) but Medicom Toy comes up with a fresh and new collection to make ones home feel that much more interesting with the VCD Mickey Mouse figure which is based opon the 1937 ‘The Worm Turns’ Mickey Mouse episode where the Boss, Mickey is seen in a white lab coat making up a cocktail of suped up magical medicine – essentially one of those golden age of cartoons drug references.

Showcasing these beautifully wonderful patterns and stripes I’m not sure any upstanding gentleman (like myself) could resist. Unfortunately, it looks as though these are only available in the Thomsen store in Paris and I don’t have any plans to go there this S/S but if ur going or coming, let me know and I’ll buy a pair of 43′s off you!

Not sure of this was about the wedding (I don’t know) but Nike just release these new sweet ass high tops – The Nike Air Royal Lite. They come with a new perforated light grey suede skin and perforations in the right places. Id love a pair if I can find them.

I kinda had this idea a while ago but never made good of it. I hope that teaches me a lesson.

But thats not to take away the great work that Jamie Beck has put together her because surpassing the obvious, she’s been able to make some of these photo sets look like it was taken in the past. These a truly photos that make your hairs stand on end.

Navy Suede retailing at £400 from the Marc Jacobs’ Spring/Summer 2011 Collection. These could complement my wardrobe easily, classic, laid back with perfect finishing details. The design, based on the classic derby shoe with a suede upper, white laces and mid-sole and finished with that sexy looking wooden sole…

Only problem I have is finding them.

This one is quite interesting because a little bit like Artificialife, this collection is from a Japanese fashion magazine called Common & Sense, another one of those cool scenester magazines. Genius job by them to get these quite amazing shots because it’s certainly causing some rumblings accross the blogosphere. Lensed by the provocative and memorable Ellen von Unwerth with modelling by two of the finest pages this week Dioni Tabbers and Hana Jirickova who are magnificent at delivering a scorching SS11 issue.

These photos pounce right out at you much stroonger than those you’ll see in modern day advertising being both emotive and cinematic with the life and silhouette of the car, coming alive from the darkness.

This collection features many of the legendary cars of history spanning from the 1930′s to the 60s. What fascinates me looking the entire collection is what I hadn’t noticed before; these cars all represent the hopes and dreams of thier era entirely… think about it, let me know your thoughts if you want!? x
