The United Nude Lo Res shoe
Jun 2010 20

I love it when the use of real CAD design methods become a part of the overall creation process in fashion. Its a massive part of sportswear design but thats an area where efficiency is required so no suprises there.

Anyway, whats most surprising here is that this shoe was made by a new semi-automatic design method by United Nude. An object is digitally scanned into a 3D computer model and regenerated into various resolutions and as a result pops out a United Nude Lo Res ‘part of an automated design revolution.

This shoe makes so much sense after watching Tron.

Heres a nice look at a lookbook thats worth mentioning. Not only for the fashion but the pure originality and thought put into the production. Tarina Tarantino meets the brand and clothing with the original colourful story made 1939 classic film the Wizard of Oz. Features Kelly Osborne, Debi Mazar and Holly Owens with photography by  Alberto Sanchez. The pictures really do all of the work so here, have a butchers…

All the hard work in digitizing these photos are by Wicked Halo I suggest checking out all 30+ pics from that blog!

Bless London for giving us Iain Crawford. His work expresses the kind of original scientific approach to photography and you can feel the hard work put into every pixel provided.

His work tells of the importance of colour, beauty and the pureness of creativity which in terms gives birth to the magic you you can see, feel, taste, hear and smell.

I only know small pockets of information on this guy so I cant really tell how long he’s been around but it feels as though he’s been here since since the wizard of oz turned became colourful.

And he’s wellnin demand. Working on projects for Lancome, Max Factor, Givenchy, L’Oreal, Vogue and many more. I am curious to learn more about Iain’s thought processes from the birth of his ideas to the awakening of his subject in situ.

I’m sure you can tell already that in my opinion he could be the best beauty photographer bar-none so i recommend you check out some of his portfolio on his website or see more of his Behance profile.

Sense it and enjoy!!
