The United Nude Lo Res shoe
Jun 2010 20

I love it when the use of real CAD design methods become a part of the overall creation process in fashion. Its a massive part of sportswear design but thats an area where efficiency is required so no suprises there.

Anyway, whats most surprising here is that this shoe was made by a new semi-automatic design method by United Nude. An object is digitally scanned into a 3D computer model and regenerated into various resolutions and as a result pops out a United Nude Lo Res ‘part of an automated design revolution.

This shoe makes so much sense after watching Tron.

My wallet is still feeling quite stressed from all the Christmas shopping and here I am, already now, hours away from 2010, browsing for what is in store for us fashion addicts in the new year. I think my wallet will feel better after reading this though.

The new Topshop Spring 2010 collaborations featuring Ashish, Ann-Sofie Back and Jonathan Saunders (almost) made me spit out my champagne in excitement!

You might have seen or heard about some of this before, I didnt want to post anything until I got more info on really what was on offer. Anyways, Stussy have teamed up with Japanese accessories company Jam Home Made to create something quite special for their 30th Anniversary Collections for 2010. There are other collaborations i.e. one with Ricoh, that I’ll highlight after the jump but in this particular Collaboration, they’ve produced quite a comprehensive line of accessories; offering college-sports rings, wallets, various chains and keychains to adorn you’re masculine frame.

I look relatively younger than my age and it allows me to get away with dressing link a student without judgment from stangers, but im now getting to a stage now where mentally, my own maturity wont let me get away with the shit I’m wearing now for much longer, even if I still look almost years younger. So whats my point? Well during my little rummage I discovered a new collection by Danish brand Matinique. The collection is hardly original but the fresh, colours and clean lines are very inspiring for a man like me (who loves all that). What also stands out for me is the variety of different styles but still fits into that same theme. I can say I’ll go out and buy any of it tomorrow but as certainly given me so direction. Keep it Classic! [..]
